Taken for the ODC theme today of "pointed" My initial plan was to do a pencil shot, but seeing that this had already been done by the time I had a chance to see the theme this evening after work, I decided on the pointed end of a phillip head screwdriver! I saw the consultant about my ankle last night and found out that when I broke my ankle I tore quite a few ligaments as well, part of which is contributing to the pain, the rest he thinks is the metal work causing irritation. I am now going to see a pain consultant to try and ease it a little. I am going to have to have the pins and plates out, but they do not like doing that until a year after the initial operation, so I guess I will be back in then in April/May next year! At least that time it is a quick operation and I should be driving etc within a couple of days :-)
