Precious Charm Bracelet
This is a sterling silver charm bracelet that I got from my favourite aunt many many years ago, way before this became a rage. My aunt lived in New Zealand and we didn't meet as often but calls and letters were frequent. She started me on my first bracelet with a few charms and I added my own pieces too based on what intrigued me. I am not sure if you can see but the egg, Sphinx and dunny were my additions. The bracelet is tarnished from use so I should look into getting it dipped clean (I used a polishing cloth and it helped a wee bit only). Why this is precious to me is also because my Aunt passed away about four years ago and this bracelet reminds me of what a lovely woman she is and wearing this bracelet always makes me smile :o)
Sterling Silver Padlock Charm Bracelets II
The first padlock is a simple 1950-60 British edition that bears the makers mark PJ - which obviously reminded me of Pilula Jula and since I had never seen it just had to have it. Also the chain on this bracelet is a flat curb link which is really comfortable to wear. The second is a Victorian repousse. the third is a cool lantern shape.
