If you were Delilah "Baby" Sampson, you'd already know that. Delilah got hooked on the Bard back in college. Then she briefly got hooked on Singapore Sling cocktails. And then she got tossed out of school. Yes, when Delilah discovers something she likes, she really sticks with it.
These days, her addictions include sudoku, lime diet cola and now…Jimmy Choos. Oh, Baby's gotta have those shoes!
But on her window-washer salary, $700 for one pair is a stretch. Which leads us to her latest obsession…gambling.
With an impromptu posse, including an elderly movie star, two Brazilian lesbians and Hillary Clinton (no, not that one!), Delilah hits the casinos and discovers that she's a natural-born high-roller. Every win puts her closer to those beloved Choos. And as the "21s" keep dropping, so do the men…right at her feet. But for a girl who never knows when to fold 'em, gambling and casino guys are not healthy habits. She could end up losing her shirt, her head…and a whole lot more.

Muse never ceases to amaze me with their new line of jewelry, but that's not why I was actually at the store. SL has quite a history of playing hide and seek with people's accessories, and today it chose to eat my pearls......so not FUNNY! But it reminded me of how classic pearls can be and still are. And I never tire of wearing classic outfits. The dress is by Bossa Nova, one of my favorite dresses to wear, despite the mesh dress booty it gives me. I'm learning to love it, slowly....Making a dress shape certainly helps when it's closer to your normal figure in SL. Make the big butt thing work for you, not against you! Another thing I avoided up until now were shoes, namely heels, from any place other than Shiny Things. It's the way more people make shoes that bugs me. I don't want my foot to look flattened on a heel or squished to a size 0. But I love nice designs, and Maitreya makes gorgeous stuff. These lovely vintage Joyce California gold and silver high heels are in amazing condition! The heels have no scratches and the gold metallic weave has no pulls! These are the perfect New Year's Eve Party shoes to go with that fabulous vintage dress you have had your eye on! They have a 2 1/2" heel and great pointed toe. They have leather soles and insoles. Womens size 6 1/2 Measure 10 1/4" Long 3" at the widest part Lucy pulled up her stockings and hooked them to her garter belt, clasped her bra and pulled her slip over her shoulders. She then clipped on her gold rhinestone earrings and matching necklace, slipped on her gold shoes, gloves and hat. Putting her coat on over this get-up she picked up her purse and drove to the hotel bar where she slipped in the chair next to her husband where she was meeting him for drinks.
