Created with all natural materials, each pomander is unique and takes at least three days to make. Every ingredient is organic where possible and no chemicals of any kind are used. The handmade rose beads start in a mortar and pestle and are created with such traditional ingredients as rose petals, rose infusion, rose otto essential oil, gum Arabic, and a fixative, usually gum labdanum or benzoin. Individually hand pressed and moulded, they sit for a day drying, and are then beaded onto a cord of pure silk using medieval materials such as silver and gold, wood, and bone. The cords are then knotted and sealed with pure beeswax to prevent slippage. Each piece comes with a reclaimed silk or cotton swatch perfumed with ancient fixative resins like myrrh, frankincense, labdanum and benison to store when not being worn. It will help retain the pomander's scent for years to come. Keep rose beads dry. These traditional medieval vanities can be used with your formal garb, on your altar or with your tools, or charged for a specific magical working. This particular piece was created especially for Her Highness, the Princess of Avacal. The entire necklet carries the theme of the Avacal colours of purple and gold.
