Final Travel Stipend News Bulletin 31 March 2009 • 10:00 PM Due to government budgetary constraints, the Tourism Company of Puerto Rico awarded a very small amount. Due to a huge deficit in the billions, we are lucky we received anything. We have to be grateful even if our expectations were higher and were not met. We asked everyone interested in coming to purchase their tickets and send us the information. The people that did will each receive $100. This includes camp followers and tickets purchased with frequent flyer miles. That is the best we can do. People that have not sent us information can come, but there will be no stipend for them. We have barrack space, black powder, meals and ground transportation from and to the airport. Our tavern will be well stocked and free. If you still choose to come, send us your information soon. Because of the huge delay, the event has less participants. Even then, we have great units coming: - 64th Regiment of Foot
