18 of 365 | Thermo Check – “How is the weather?” is probably one of the common questions to start a conversation. Of course this is not exclusive to what is being reported by a weather bureau or a newscaster that if answered, “We’re at 30 degrees Celsius today with partly cloudy skies.. blah blah blah”. Come on, humor me on that. But if you read between those lines, quite a lot of answers would draw back where they could either be, “It’s too hot!”, “It’s too cold!”, “I’m just right”, “I’m under the weather”. The question is more like conducting a temperature check to gauge and see on how things are, then opening channels to allow other possibilities in building up the conversation. At the end of the day, we might just have known that person on a different perspective in the same manner that the person will be given a new one.
