Pac-Man Memorabilia on display I decided to take out the Cinerama memorabilia from my showcase, and replace it with this. Yes, I was an Atarian. I used to be an avid Atari 2600 VCS collector. About 14 years ago I started collecting the games I played as a kid, and I ended up with quite an extensive collection years later with hundreds and hundreds of games, most of them boxed. I learned to program HTML and made an Atari website with my buddy Arne, we travelled the world visiting friends we had made in trading these games and talking about the hobby on the irc channel #rgvc, visited many conventions and co-organised some, here in Europe and in the US. For many years I contributed to the Digital Press Guide to Collecting Classic Video Games as well as the fanzine. In the last couple of years, the collection was stowed away and boxed-up, so I decided to part with it. I kept all movie-related games, as well as some memorabilia, like this Pac-Man stuff. Missing in the cabinet is Pac-Man for the Atari 2600 VCS, boxed and signed by programmer Todd Frye. I also have more classic video game-related collectibles, but there was no more room! Pretty much obscured from sight is an Atari Pac-Man frisbee, above the lunchbox, as well as the drinking mug above that's part of the lunchbox. ornament
it was a present years ago from an American friend, a bag piping santa .. very festive.
