Cub Scouts is for boys and girls aged from nine to about twelve and it's a great way to make loads of new friends and have a whole lotta fun too!
Cubs meet once a week in the scout den but that's only half the story! About once a month, the pack goes hiking, swimming, camping, to the cinema or on some type of adventure! That the cool thing about Cubs, you help decide what the pack does and when now where else will you get that kinda input!
As Cubs, members will get their first taste of camping and usually go away for a weekend or two each year. They also have the opportunity to do proficiency badges based on their interests, skills and hobbies.. The Programme is broken into three arrow stages and they will complete one stage each year they are in Cubs.
Cubs work in-groups called Sixes and an older cub is appointed Sixer and takes responsibilities for some of the tasks with the younger cubs. Each six also has a Seconder to help the Sixer with his / her tasks
