We had a great time on our trip to Splash World. Everybody had a great time. We departed Monasterevin at 9:30. We took the scenic route and arrived at splash world at 12:30. 

Everybody then headed to the Pool, where we were all given a safety briefing by the Life guard. We spent about 2 hours here enjoying the water slides and Wave pool.

After swimming we had a picnic outside the complex. 

We all headed over to the funfair for a couple of hours, and again we had a great time. Some of the older scouts even tried their hands at rock climbing, and too their delight many of them liked it.

We left Tramore about 5:30pm and started the long journey home. This included a stop at KFC in Kilkenny for a bite to eat.

We arrived back in Monasterevin at about 8:15pm with plenty of tired Beavers, Cubs and Scouts, even a few tired Scouters.

However the consensus was that all had a great time, and we are looking forward to going again next year.
