Dorm painting

My good friend Sam Rohrich inspired me to make some art for my dorm room! This was a vinyl hanging display board at my work, Panera Bread Co. My manager let me take home an old display so I could try painting on vinyl. I found out acrylic will rub off vinyl, but fixative will keep it on! I saw this beautiful print in a Target (gotta love Target) and determined that I would try to do something similar with masking tape, acrylic paint, gold spray paint and brushes and a fork. I think it's amazing how people can inspire one another without even knowing it.
