Triangle bit screwdriver - Xbox 360 screwdriver Triangle Bit Screwdriver
365.334 Ghetto portrait lighting setup: Lesson 3 Portraits by laser light 1 laser, I laser diffuser or lens out of a microfiche reader (do you realize how tiny a laser beam is.. and how bright?) Tripod, welding goggles (after the first try I realized that I might need them), portable IBM computer rack lift ( for strategically placing the laser at eye level) Quarter inch thick Phillips screwdriver bit for minor adjustment to laser level Exposure time 25 sec at F2.8 ISO 80 Have your subject stare directly into the lens of the camera and tell him/her to be very still, very effin still for 25 sec. NOTE: You cannot see the camera through welding goggles so make a good guess. Laser shaped catch lights are a bonus with this setup. The wider your eyes the better the catch lights. I think you can see the retina of the subject if you look closely A word of caution… careful with the laser light… it’s very bright. Be careful walking around with welding goggles on. It’s very dark. Tomorrow… Why I have decided not to do any more lessons triangle quilt top
Finished the quilt top due to a rare weekend nap by my 3 year old! I pieced this right after my string quilt when all the leftover stripes were laying about. I laid out the triangles in various ways and like this one the best. I came up with this triangle idea a while ago and had been itching to try it out. Blocks are 10.5". Only scraps were used to make this quilt which is why some of the color strips are pieced. The white is from a 100% cotton bed sheet.
