You name it. I like playing this game. Photo taken for Strobist Sundays pool who's theme this week is "Game On" AND Macro Monday's weekly theme which is "Dirty Secrets." My dirty secret about this game is I play to win. strobist: sb800 camera left and up a foot or so, fired with cactus v4 trigger. 1/32 power. Camera on Manual 200th at f7. Edit:The difficult part was throwing them IN the viewfinder and area of focus and pressing the shutter at the right time. Try it at home! Set your camera on a tripod, set up your light(s), mark below an area to release the dice, set something temporarily in that spot to set your focus and start throwing and firing the shutter at the same time. I lost count of the times that I threw the dice and deleted the duds in camera before importing them. It was way over 50 shots that were out of focus range or the dice weren't even visible in camera. I had my shutter on 'slow' but I didn't get the effect I wanted. I wanted a blur of dice also but didn't accomplish it.

Autumn sundown on the shriveling leaves of a hickory tree. I had only a few brief minutes before the day was gone so was in a mad panic to get as many shots as possible, as quickly as I could..... glad no one was watching ;0) canon rebel xt / sigma 150 "full setting" macro / fall bokeh sun setting orange woodland backyard / uncropped image / richmond virginia - chesterfield county
