The Story Look Closely! There is so much going on in this photo that only a true windmill junkie would appreciate. The bottom pipe had been dropped several years ago (this well is over 200 feet deep) a new pipe was put in soon after. This year it stopped working so we had to pull it, pulling 200 feet of pipe is no fun, and its scary! we had about 75 more feet to go, and a coupler broke. The pipe dissapeared before our eyes. Junior, a genious!, created a device to hook on to pipe that had fallen with a long cable. Success! we hooked on to the pipe and began pulling it. When we got to the bottom we realized that the pipe we dropped fell directly on the pipe that had been down in the well. Not only did it hit the other pipe it caught the other pipe..... and we pulled it out! Completely amazing to me, i can only imagine how dull that sounded to everybody else!
