Lifetime Dream # 85 of my list of 155: I will design and build a full functioning workshop at my house. The workshop will be separate from the main house. I will have every tool I would ever need, from miscellaneous small hand tools to large scale tools. I will have custom designed cabinets for my work bench, and a custom designed cabinet for all of my small parts. I have always been fascinated with tools, building, wood working, and anything that is related to the craftsman. Both of my grandfathers were master craftsmen, and my father showed me a lot. I also learned a lot on my own- building tree houses, buildings, and a myriad of other projects. I have always wanted my own workshop- a nice big workshop with all the power tools, work benches, etc. And because I am OCD- of course everything has to have its place. I have a lot of great tools, but sadly I have not to space to have a workshop just yet. I really miss having one, but I know that someday I will. Someday I hope to have a shop to rival the Yankee Workshop!

we called at costco on the way home from work to get me a heed torch to replace the energiser one. its not broke but its a bit weak underground. they have those LED lenser ones for 15 quid. as is always the case with costco, we went in wanting one thing and came out with a hundred quid's worth of stuff! got all this stanley screwing, countersinking, drilling & screw holding goodness for a tenner. bargain! i can't wait to get cracking on the skirting now so i can be super efficient with my combined pilot drill countersinking & screw driving bits. damn im turning into my dad......
