This item appeared here a while ago when I first got it - here it is now, in use finally. Note that the collar is not bottoming on the chuck. The tool clamps straight onto the bit, and uses it as a pilot. The tool was removed after cutting the countersinks, and the drill bit pulled out slightly and the hole bored to depth

The material is turned off of the outside, and we are using a scraper to remove some material so we can get a nice hub to grab on to with the 4 jaw chuck. On the next drop spindle, we will be drilling a hole for the shaft at this point, and turn our whorl between centers.
