after Yes! What a brilliant discovery. I don't know why I didn't do this sooner. Having finally come to the realisation that we have NO storage space left in our apartment I whizzed off to Tokyu Hands and bought a couple of vacuum pack bags to try out. So exciting. This photo is of our spare duvet. Our spare futon shrunk down almost as much, I was amazed! The bit of cupboard that previously could only store one futon and one duvet, now stores the futon, duvet, a big cumbersome hard-shell suitcase, an electric fan, an electric heater AND a bag of blankets! Plus, bonus, everything is stored dust & damp free! Yay! At which point I got really overexcited and found myself at the beginning of an addiction. I wanted to vacuum pack EVERYTHING!! For the last week, we have resorted to back-up heating for the chapel ~ in the shape of two mobile gas heaters, running on L.P.G. ~ because the electric storage heaters cannot maintain 19°C inside, when it's -13°C outside !
