Sterling Silver and Garnet Dangling Hearts
Sterling silver and garnet dangling heart earrings. The heart was cut out by hand by me, and is sterling silver along with the rest of the components of the earring. The bead is a 6mm round garnet. The heart was hammered and slightly domed to add texture and interest. It was then polished and a microcrystaline wax was applied to help preserve the finish. The earring hangs at a total length of about 1 3/4" and is a little over 1/2" at its widest point.
