SOLD. Hint Jewelry fine silver dolphin charm; faceted amazonite; ss disc beads & 2mm beads; ss toggle clasp Handmade fine silver dolphin charm from Beth of Hint Jewelry; faceted amazonite from High Tide Beads, Hilton Head Island, SC. I just love using charms from Beth of Hint Jewelry in my designs. This dolphin charm is a fairly new design. Since my husband and I live on an island, it seems the marshes, the ocean and the large pods of dolphins have started to figure quite a bit in my designs. When I saw the dolphin charm, I knew I had to use it :) The amazonite represents the water (more of a Caribbean color than the cloudy color of the water here due to the marshes). I wish you could see how the facets flash on this amazonite - reminds me of the bright starry reflections of the sun on the water. Used the sterling bead to break up the amazonite and to make the bracelet more flexible. This bracelet has a very calming, cool feeling when you put it on . . .
Gesso FIne Silver Earrings - SOLD
Gesso FIne Silver Earrings - SOLD
These sold within an hour of listing them and I just love how they came out! I had this design idea for a while, but hadn't sat down to execute it until this week as I was busy with a show. These earrings were lovingly handcrafted with Art Clay Silver. Art Clay Silver is a combination of fine silver (.999 silver), organic binders and water. After firing it in my kiln, the organic binders burn away and what is left is 99.9% fine silver. These charms have been deeply oxidized and polished to a satin finish. They have been paired with a darling pair of vintage lucite flowers, which I have wire wrapped with fine silver. They measure 1 5/16 inches.
