Pottery Coffee Mug

I can not take credit for making the mug. While I was out of class last term, recovering from shoulder reconstructive surgery, my instructor saved some pieces she made for examples, for me to glaze this term. She figured my shoulder would not be heal well enough to handle throwing pttery (and she is correct) - so this way I could still work on stuff. She knows I like mixing the glazes as much as making the item.

Pottery + Coffee = Bad Taste

This is one of my favorite coffee mugs in my collection, but I'm now convinced it's imparting a taste to my coffee, which can't be good.
