I kinda feel like I'm running into a wall lately with my photos. I'm in a damn warehouse three or four days a week, there's no natural light and all the damn table surfaces are boring steel grey or some terrible shade of off-orange. And it's not that I dislike these colors usually, it's just every time I look at the pictures I take, I dying for some color. I mean come on, coffee isn't the most dynamic of liquids when it comes to colors and I get no help from surfaces that are the same color as crema. And then to top it all off, Firefox's rendering of color is terrible (if that's the correct term.) Somebody should really crack some heads down there and make my photos look better. Unhelpful free-software jerks. Ok, done complaining for tonight. These cups were from several samples that Barnett roasted the other day from our friends over at Daterra Farms. I was in the middle of roasting, so I don't think I was able to give them all the attention that they deserved, and in my lazy approach, I think I was overly hard on some of the samples. I need to get more time on the sample roaster. I also need to learn how the damn thing works. I'm still unclear as to its mechanics and how the sample profile would translate on a bigger machine. Somebody, (Ben K?) was telling me about a 1lb Diedrich that someone was using abroad. Now that sounds fabulous.

Starting next month, we will be featuring Keurig “K-Cup” single brewer coffee makers in all of our rooms! These coffeemakers will feature Diedrich branded regular and decaf coffee packs with larger, eco-friendly 10 oz. paper coffee cups with lids so that you can take your coffee to-go! Tea and hot chocolate (from the Main St. Market) may be made by running water through the machine without the coffee pack to produce the hot water, then place tea bag or cocoa in cup to mix. For best results we recommend bottled water from the Main St. Market.
