Professional 8 in 1 Multifunction Sublimation Heat Press Machine - Model PRO-8800X
This commercial-grade heat press from American Specialty Tool includes 8 elements that allow you to create custom t-shirts, license plates, mugs, hats, and many other unique and fun items. Transfer onto an array of surface materials such as fabric, metal, ceramic, wood and glass. Element sizes are: 15" x 11.5" flat/t-shirts; 6oz. mug (2 - 3" diameter); 11oz. mug (3" - 3.5" diameter); 12oz. latte mug (4.75" diameter); 17oz. latte mug (4.75" diameter); 6" x 3" cap; 4.75" small plate; and 6" large plate. Detached 12" x 8" cradle for use with the mug heating element included; comes with coated handle and rubber feet. The swing-away design directs pressure straight down for a more even application. The elevated aluminum lower platen allows you to easily insert and remove t-shirts from the machine. The elements included with this heat press (except the cap press) are Teflon-coated and non-stick to prevent scorching of transfers and do not require a separate silicone/Teflon sheet. The cap press is made of high-grade aluminum and does not require special sheets, either. The pressure-adjustment knob allows you to adjust the pressure according to the thickness of the material to which you're transferring. The multi-spring balancer maintains consistent pressure over the entire platen surface for complete and even transfers. Digital temperature control lets you preset the temperature; the element will stop heating when the preset temperature is reached. A digital timer with an audible alarm helps avoid overexposure. This commercial-grade heat press is true 1,200 watts rated with a temperature range up to 750 degrees Fahrenheit. A coated handle is included for long production runs. Arrives fully assembled and ready to use with 8 heating elements as described including a special ball cap platen and detached mug/latte cradle, removable lower platen with integrated hi-temp silicone pad, and operating instructions (printer and paper not included).
81% (16) Diabolical Latte What a disappointment a bad latte is. It can ruin your whole day. I knew this was bad the moment I picked it up. That "oh no" moment like stepping in dog s***. Instant recognition it's too light in my hand. The barrista has made me a bad cappuccino: 50% bitter coffee, 50% froth which has more in common with bubble bath foam than hot milk. What did I do to deserve this? How can I carry on? I just want to turn around and go home back to bed. Write the day off as a total wash out. I can barely bring myself to scrawl something on the cup, pull my camera from my bag, position the cup and spoon, and take 18-20 shots at different angles while the staff stare at me; which I will later process at home. Another day down in my project 365. For clarity, Wikipedia says: "a caffe latte is typically prepared in a 240cc (8oz) glass or cup with one standard shot of espresso (either single, 30 ml, or double, 60 ml) and filled with steamed milk, with a layer of foamed milk approximately 12mm (? inch) thick on the top." That's twelve ******* millimetres! Not twenty-four. And certainly not forty-eight! And this is what Pret's website says: "A Barista is someone who knows about coffee. They will have attended a course about coffee and basic training skills and proven to their GM and Ops that they can make great coffees consistently and maintain the coffee machines, keeping them in tip top condition. They are tested on both ability and knowledge and are the champions of Pret coffee!" It fails to mention that sometimes for laughs, they let the guy who started yesterday make the coffee! Am I over-reacting? Photo 57/365 - Hopeless Junkie
Photo 57/365 - 26 February 2010. The title pretty much summons it up. I like my coffee, a lot. Years ago a friend of mine calls it "English Juice" because I do not start to speak English until I have had a cup of coffee. Lucky for me my office has a cafe grade machine and it has been known to pump out 2 or 3 dishwasher loads of coffee cups in a day to sustain the office. We declare a state of emergency if we cannot make coffee in house. Thanks to this machine I have pretty much mastered the art of frothing milk consistently with the ultra micro bubbles in the froth to make the coffee taste super creamy. What has eluded me thus far is latte art, grr! Today I just about set up camp next to this coffee machine. It has been an insanely long week with a few late nights thrown in. I can't say I am 100% happy with it but it will have to do. Post processing to get the grain.
