Best Allen Wrenches : Hydrant Wrench : Tool Shop Drill Best Allen Wrenches
IMG 1497.JPG As happens often in my life, I would really have liked to already have the thing I'm making, as it would really help me finish making it :) I had to cut all the lumber on this thing the old fashioned way: measuring with a tape measure, scribing lines with a square, lining things up by eye, and hoping. The laser on this saw only shines when spining - powered by batteries that switch on under centrifugal force - but it's not at all lined up. I imagine it can be, if I went at it with an allen wrench, or something, though it's going to be different for each thickness of wood - it can't not be given it's off-plane placement. I did my best, but the pieces were still all a little off from each other. When I finish building this thing, though, such inconsistencies should be a thing of the horrible, awful past. 365-274: Screw it
I have to take apart one corner of my computer desk to move it, and it uses hex nuts instead of standard bolts. Previously, all I had was that L-shaped allen wrench to work them, which was a pain in the ass. This time, I went to Home Despot to get a ratcheting hex wrench. Made things SO much easier this time.
