first off, i just want to thank everyone who took the time to say happy birthday to me! honestly if i had to weigh out my day between good and bad, i'd probably say it wasn't the best birthday day i've had mainly because i had a test early in the morning, then work during the afternoon and was absolutely irritated with everything, and then i had a class with lab afterwards which is always confusing and unorganized as usual..i just wanted to get out of that class and celebrate what was left of that day and i pretty much didn't get out until 10PM. but thanks to my boyfriend, being the sweet wonderful guy i can ever imagine being with, he surprised with with this gorgeous bouquet of sunflowers!! it was the most absolute cutest thing ever and it made me happy. he even bought me two large sized snickers bar, my favorite candy<3 but yeah! we met up after my class to go to D&B and he bought me my first drink! i got a screwdriver and apparently the bartender put a loooot of alcohol in mine. im not a big drinker so it was a bit hard for me to drink it. but it was good nonetheless. i had to have jordan explain to me why he gave both of us so much alcohol in our drinks haha. anyways, we then ordered some appetizers and that was basically our full meal and played some games! we shot around some hoops and i made the highest score of 39 shots in 30 seconds? haha i beat him again! but after that, i came home...and no one was home and i had to call my sister up and apparently my dad was at the hospital and that was the other thing that kind of made me feel a little bad on my birthday as well. but he's fine now and i'm glad he is. i was really scared and cried just knowing the fact he was taken to the hospital which is a pretty rare thing in our family. so i was definitely worried, but everything turned out all right and i hope he'll be fine for a long while. but thank you everyone again! :) i will definitely have to make this weekend the best weekend to make up for my birthday!

I just recently picked up the new Character Options 3rd Doctor figure. It's the version of his outfit from the Sea Devils and even though they have another version from the Death To The Daleks serial I opted for this version since I think the opera cape he wears really is quintessential Third Doctor garb. I took this in a shadow box AKA my car while in a parking lot since the depths of the floor combined with stark parking lot lighting made the shadows play across his sculpted features in a very wonderful way. I can't recommend this figure enough to any fan of the classic Doctor Who series, I mean, come ON! John Pertwee pretty much redefined the series and even Tom Baker whom I consider to the the greatest really only built upon the foundations laid out by the Pertwee era. Best thing is that if you say, utterly hate the cloak, it's removable and the only evidence it was there is a slight separation between the upper arms and the upper torso to make room for the cloak when it's on him...that's it. Oh, and I HAVE to mention the Sonic Screwdriver. They actually managed to make a yellow and black spiral that actually connects in an unbroken line on the upper portion of the Sonic...that's just amazing. I really need to get a new camera. It used to take more crisp pictures and now it's getting a it grainy..yeah well, I work with what I got XD
