Time to recycle the broken Powerbook G4, my lovely faithful old laptop. Quite a bit of hard work when you dont have any screwdrivers, let alone Torx ones. With one of the many failed parts being a dead harddrive, it needed removing and destroying first, what with all those bank details being on there and all! Other broken bits (before I recycled it): broken latch, missing Up key (damn you Peanut!), dodgy power connection, nearly dead battery. It had a good long life, including having an entire cup of tea spilled ALL over the keyboard (it literally was running out of the bottom of the case, yet, after drying, continued to work for a couple of months). Notes attached.

Removing the screws

I removed the screws with my trusty Swiss Army knife that I got this summer. The Torx screwdriver inside it worked perfectly. Those are some long screws!
