Sacrifice for the good of Midian **edited for story*** Alayni Axelrad placed a stray strand of red hair back behind her ear and smiled at the boy's enthusiasm, "I beleive that was probably a BlackStar Op. I dinna want ye gettin in trouble with yer spyin. I mostly been tryin ta take blodo samples otha infected so I can atempt to ascertain a reverse affect. But I havent had any luck collecting any samples...mostly because the "kids" have been filling their bodies with other toxins such as drugs that would hinder my analysis greatly." Darkness Odigaunt blinks, she totally knew who that was... but the colors in her returning memories were off slightly.... Didn't se used to have pink hair? "Re-regina? Izzat you?" she looks back at River's tone. Rrishanna Regina looks over towards the hybrid medic. "I've not done any drugs. I've stayed away from the crazy people. I hate needles...." Boy, did she hate needles..."but you could take my blood...." Alayni Axelrad 's eyes lit up considerably, blue orbs studying the woman behind the railing near the organ, "What...really?! I would appreciate that...would never take blood without absolute consent, but it would help my analysis of the problem greatly if you wouldnt mind..." Rrishanna Regina looks up at the nun's question. "yeah....my name's Regina..." She looked closer at the nun, but still didn't trust her recognition. All she knew right now was that she was a Parishioner...Bails had told her that....She couldn't possibly be a nun herself....or was she? "Sure...it's just....I pass out with needles....but yeah, you can take some." Darkness Odigaunt looked back at River with a small smile. "Thanks.." Her eye moved to Regina again, "You know... we live next to eachother..." she nodded back t the cloister, eyes accidentally falling on Mr. Tay. Teyh Saunders stands a short distance away from Sister D, clearing his throat when she set her eyes upon him. "Ahem...Ah...It's...It's good to have you back, Sister..." He murmured softly, nervously. Alayni Axelrad nods, removing a syringe with a smaller needle and attaching it to the base, as well as packets of alcohol swabs she carried in her med belt. "Well there is a special way to counter that. I used ta be same way...passin out from needles, even though needles dinna bother me much. There is a common way to take blood, but there are pecialcase o people...like yerself, and mahself, that tend to get dizzy...start seein spots when blood is taken. It is the position of the veins that causes it, also draining the blood too slowly and forcing ye to watch." she approached the woman carefully, swabbing down the needle as she went, pulling another alcohol packet to swab her arm down with. "Ye will have ta remove yer jacket for me..." she smiled, indescribably grateful. River Grau looked away from the two women as he saw the needle, moving closer to Sister D and looking at Tehy. He didn't seem to have any needles. "Sister D ain't crazy anymore!" He sounded cheerful. Rrishanna Regina forgets everything else as she sees the medic with the needle coming towards her. She's grateful to see the alcohol swabs, at least there wouldn't be worry about blood borne diseases or AIDS or something like that. Her eyes worried and fearful, she slowly takes off her jacket and rolls up her sleeve. "I...." she takes a deep breath... "if I pass out, take the blood any....any....." the sentence isn't completed before her eyes roll back in her head and she collapses on the ground. Darkness Odigaunt had started to back off slightly, without really thinking. She twitches slightly at River's voice, then relaxes slightly, "Th-thank you... Mr. Tay..." she almost tried a smile when Regina falls. She turns toward her and rushes to her side, more memories coming back slightly. Alayni Axelrad almost laughs, but refrains, though her udden faceplant to the floor WAS rather amusing. She kneels next to the girl, no sense in reviving her only to have her faint again. She opened the other alcohol packet and swabbed the girl's forearm gently, injecting the needle in and quickly taking a sample of her blood, hoping she didnt wake up with he needle stillin her as it would cause a small amount of shock. She swabbed the area clean after she was done, and turned her over very gently, removing a small vial of smelling salt from her medical tool belt and waving it beneath her nose River Grau just turned his back more towards the medic and the fainter, not wanting to see what was behind him. "Maybe more peoples will be normal now.." Rrishanna Regina takes a deep breath of the smelling salts and her eyes pop open and bug out. "Holy Feckin' Jesus H. Roosevelt Christ!" A string of stronger profanity pops out of her mouth as she tries to sit up, but groans and lays back down with her head still fuzzy. "Didja......did IMG 0671 ZZYY
Building Blocks exhibition installation by Zizi&Yoyo at Fargfabriken in Stockholm, April 2010. The Warship KUUL is in search for METAREVAL. The Aestii of today crusading in, between and through cloudscapes on the Warship KUUL are in search of the viking treasures of an upcoming era, luxury of the future. The world of mythical superpower patterns is unlimited and perfect ideal world, the rules of which fascinating to follow. The historic heroes, Aestii Vikings and Oeselians had once upon a time created a set of patterns for success and good luck, representing the orderliness and balance between elements within their spiritual and physical reality. They had set their patterns where they belong according to their best beliefs, probably fully comprehended only by their inventors, users and developers. Generation by generation, in a sense, they had taken their patterns through something similar to reduction in mathematics, where canceling takes place until we are left with primary numbers. The Warship KUUL forcycling (or 'nucycling', formerly known as 'recycling') METAREVAL projection is a visual journey, and the model structure an installation based on ancient Aestii Viking patterns, rendering the future through video lens of a navigation vehicle of tomorrow. It reutilizes the historic perception that of abstract geometry, emphasizing the cycles of nature and life: old is new. Our ancestors' heritage is today not only an evolution of pattern making left to us by crusading pirates, but cross-culturally appealing and visually binding bridge from Middle Ages to our great grandchildren yet to be born. The two interior shelter spaces of the model, covered with magnetic white board to form a surface for children to play on with red/pink square pixels, serves as a tool for kids to invent their own ways of pattern making. Each child can rearrange the pixels according to wishes, thus taking forward the visual messages of geometric messages left behind by other visitors. While the top surface of the model represents a prefabricated historic design, then the small inside shelters are hideaway spaces for individual creative expression: a secret message board, reutilizing the ancient language of abstract geometric Aestii Viking patterns. REVAL is ancient name of the city of Tallinn, capital of Estonia and home of The Aesti (or Aestii). Described by the Roman historian Tacitus in his treatise Germania (ca. 98 CE), the Aestii lived on the shore of the Suebian Sea (Baltic Sea), eastward of the Suiones (Scandinavians) and westward of the Sitones. They were a population of Suebia. Tacitus did not know whether to assign the nearby Fenni to Germania or Sarmatia (which extended as far west as the Vistula in places), but this does not matter as much as the Aestii's association with amber, a popular luxury item during the life of Tacitus, with known sources at the southeastern coast of the Baltic Sea. The Baltic amber trade, which appears to have extended to the Mediterranean Sea, has been traced by archaeologists back to the Nordic Bronze Age. It is speculated that name Aestii survived as to specifically designate Estonians and is the origin of the modern national name of Estonia: Eesti in Estonian, Eistland in ancient Scandinavian sagas, and Estia, Hestia and Estonia in early Latin sources. More specifically, the Oeselians (or Osilians) were a historical Finnic people inhabiting Saaremaa (Latin: Oesel or Osilia) which is an Estonian island in the Baltic Sea. They are first thought to be mentioned as early as the 2nd century BC in Ptolemy's Geography III. The Oeselians along with Curonians were known in the Old Norse Icelandic Sagas and in Heimskringla as Vikingr fra Esthland (English: Estonian Vikings). Their sailing vessels were called pirate ships by Henry of Livonia in his Latin chronicles from the beginning of the 13th century. While Eistland or Esthland is the historical Germanic language name that refers to the origin of the modern national name for Estonia, then Eysyssel or Osyssla was the name of the island (Swedish: Osel, Estonian: Saaremaa), the home of the Oeselians (Estonian: Saarlased). On the eve of Northern Crusades, the Oeselians were summarized in the Livonian Rhymed Chronicle thus: "The Oeselians, neighbors to the Kurs (Curonians), are surrounded by the sea and never fear strong armies as their strength is in their ships. In summers when they can travel across the sea they oppress the surrounding lands by raiding both Christians and pagans."
