And there... I did it!   Heck yes,  It was scary... really scary! I've done lots of thrill things,  and I was always interested in Skydiving,  but didn't know if I would ever be able to do bring myself to jump.  Thanks to the folks over at SKYDIVEATLAS.com now I have.  Hoyt was my instructor,  Rock Star Liz gave the pre-flight intstruction, and J. filmed the whole event.    If you have even remotely thought you might want to skydive,  don't miss your chance to go with these guys.  They certainly know what they're doing,  and jumping out over the Gulf of Mexico is a view you can't beat!

Clayton finally found a Halloween costume!

Last night,

while working at the Head To Toe Expo... he won a "Snuggie" from the folks at Walgreens!

Since it's Halloween,

there's no way he can look stupid... right?

Wednesday Sailboat races:

July 1st,  you still haven't come down to the bayfront yet to see all the action have you?  Well here's what you're missing,  these photos were taken aboard Brad Stokes "Lone Star".  We usually depart around 5:45pm, and if you head out to the Lawrence St. T-Head (the one with Joe's Crab Shack) you'll get a great view.  With the weather being as nice as it was last night,  there were far more boats out than I've seen recently.

YIKES!  Sailing last night was quite an adventure.  As you can see from the photos, when we left, the weather was perfect.  About half-way through the course, the weather turned VERY ugly.  We made it back ok, thanks to a very experienced crew (that doesn't include me).  Remember, every Wednesdy (weather permitting) you can come down to the T-heads and watch the races.  This time of year, 6pm is your best viewing time for the start.

There was a horrible accident before the Hooks game on Saturday.  Don was explaining to Clayton how to play the "Fast Pitch" game.  Things didn't work out as planned.  Clayton spent the rest of the evening trying to find the number to 9-1-1.

Good luck Don, we're all pulling for you!

Ok, I had Janet's Cakery make these birthday cakes for Susan's birthday.  One problem,  she loved them so much that we're not allowed to eat them.  So..... what do all of you do with cakes that you don't eat?  Wedding cakes, 1st birthday cakes, etc.I know... freeze them.  But then what?  Leave them in the freezer forever?

Here's the "actual" pups.

Everyone says "you look really young!"

Perhaps that's because I started my radio career at a VERY early age.

I interned under Adrian Cronauer (Good Morning Vietnam) in the late 60's

After sharpening my skills with the pre-k crowd, I accepted my first professional  position with a station in Houston.

You might have also heard me in Austin & San Antonio.

Radio was very rewarding to me in the early 70's.

While the rest of my friends were stuck in the slow lane, 2 wheeling their way to a dead-end day at grade school,

the radio station supplied me with a new Corvette.

Just seconds after recess and finger painting, I was screaming out of the parking lot at 60mph on my way to the studios for my show.
