College Football Toys

College football refers to American football played by teams of student athletes fielded by American universities, colleges and military academies. It was through college play that American football first gained popularity in the United States.

My old room in Columbia, SC. My parents tell me we didn't have AC, but I sure don't remember that detail. I loved these toys, used to play in here for hours, and outside in my sandbox. I had a friend named Todd who was a neighbor's kid from accross the street, and was friends with a couple of brothers of a Catholic family who lived in the house right in back of ours. We liked to throw pine cones at each other, among other things.

Check out this nifty car flag I got from My Coke Rewards. :) USC is playing against Mississippi State today and trying to hold on to at least a share of the lead in the SEC East. Adding this to Cliche Saturday's scavenger hunt under "seasonal" pictures because, c'mon, college car flags are just as autumn as foliage and pumpkins (and crabs in the wind). HCS!
