Here I am in short-sleeve pajamas. I'm 9. I've just opened a plastic model kit of an Aurora 1:48 scale WWII German Panther Tank. Why don't I look happier...? Dunno. Maybe I was just sleepy, having been awake all night with the excitement of opening presents in the morning...? I actually built very few models when I was a kid. The ones I did build were smeared with glue, imprecisely constructed (parts weren't fitted together right, so there were gaps and overlaps of pieces), and badly painted. I got a lot of models, though. I asked my brother Dennis to build them for me, and he was happy to - he loved to build models. :) No, I was more into playing with the finished models....
