This week we will be focusing on counting on and back from a given number. Students should be practicing counting on and back from numbers within 50. They will then apply this knowledge to addition and subtraction sums. On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday we shall be learning about and exploring doubles and halves. On Thursday and Friday we shall be learning about and exploring odd and even numbers. There shall be three maths meetings this week which shall be uploaded on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
For each of the lessons it is important that you have some objects you can use to help with counting these could be lego bricks, bottle tops, pencils or like I used forks. Each topic has a video to accompany and then at least two challenges which pupils can choose which they would like to complete.
