Hello, hello! I am Rana Khaled, a third-year student in the Prosthetics and Orthotics department. I am passionate about my field and aspire to become a professional in this discipline. My academic journey includes hands-on experience with innovative projects, such as:
Designing a 3D-printed prototype wheelchair for individuals with amputations.
Developing an exo-glove designed to assist people with hand disabilities in performing daily activities more easily.
These projects reflect my commitment to improving the lives of individuals with disabilities through creative and practical solutions.
Personal Interests and Hobbies
Beyond academics, I have diverse interests that reflect my creativity and curiosity:
Enjoy meeting new people and exploring new fields through courses like project management and employment skills.
Creating handmade birthday cards and envelopes, decorated with personal touches.
Collecting pens and reading novels, manga, and manhwa (Japanese and Korean comics).
I love food and love cooking.
These hobbies allow me to balance my academic pursuits with activities that nurture my artistic and social sides.
Why I Joined the Program
I joined this diploma program to integrate my field with electronics and Arduino. I aim to enhance the functionality of orthopedic devices and prosthetics to serve patients better. I also aim to explore and select environmentally friendly materials that support sustainable development.
This program will help me bridge the gap between mechanical and electronic solutions, improving the efficiency and sustainability of prosthetic and orthopedic innovations.
