Yahya graduated from Cairo University's Faculty of Engineering Systems and Biomedical Department back in 2022. During my time there, I wasn't just buried in books I dabbled in a bunch of cool stuff outside classes.
I was all over the place, joining different student groups doing all sorts of gigs like photography, leading teams, and even trying my hand at content writing. But you know what really lit up my world? Making and fixing things. I'm that person who'll happily try to fix anything that's broken at home.
You won't catch me yawning at a crazy idea for some smart gadget I'm totally game to give it a shot! Like, not long ago, I made this solar energy lamp for my family's farm. Now I'm knee-deep in a project to set up a whole solar energy system for the farm.
Oh, and let me tell you about this awesome experience! I volunteered with the Maker Fair Cairo team twice in 2022 and 2023. Those events were a blast, and I totally vibed with the collaboration and creativity there.
When I'm not tinkering, I'm out cycling or capturing moments with my camera. Oh, and I've also jumped into the teaching gig part-time, sharing my coding mojo with eager learners at Ischool.
This maker journey of mine? It's a work-in-progress story, blending what I've learned in school, the random things I've tried, and the passion to turn crazy ideas into real, working stuff. I'm all about pushing limits and making dreams into things you can touch and use.
