About Me
Ahmed is a highly motivated Aerospace Engineer and Robotics Instructor with a deep passion for emerging technologies, including IoT, AI, Digital Fabrication, and Robotics. Combining theoretical engineering with hands-on practical experience, he is driven to develop innovative solutions that address real-world challenges and inspire the next generation of makers.
Ahmed currently works as a Teaching Assistant at the German University in Cairo (GUC), where he supports the Model-making and Rapid Prototyping Lab, assists students in project development, and contributes to teaching modules focused on digital fabrication and prototyping.
Beyond academia, Ahmed has extensive experience as a Robotics Instructor, teaching Arduino-based robotics and electronics to students aged 8–14 through engaging, project-based learning. He also served as a Technical Supervisor for the Crystal Clear project at GUC, helping students design and prototype functional smart products.
A Maker Diploma graduate, Ahmed combines engineering principles with creative problem-solving and has co-founded award-winning teams such as Apollo Robotics and Aero Eagles, earning recognition including the Best Design Award at the Alamein International Robotics Competition and reaching the finals of the Innovators Support Fund Competition.
He has contributed to projects like Multi-Mission UAVs, Landmine Detection Robots, and AI-powered assistive systems for the hearing and speech impaired. Ahmed continues to explore the intersection of engineering, education, and innovation, striving to create meaningful technological impact.
