A little bit about me...

I am entering my 13th year of teaching (which is starting to make me feel old) with experiences in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade science. I earned my undergraduate and master degrees at EMU.

To better engage my learners, I take advantage of numerous and different instructional styles that get the kids up and moving. I think it is important for learners to develop problem solving and critical thinking skills, which can best be accomplished through collaboration with others. My goal is to set high, but attainable expectations for each and every learner.
