Mrs.Hurst's Fifth Grade Class
Class overview
This year will be different than any other we have ever known. I am a firm believer in the power that our attitude has on our success. Therefore, I choose to be excited about this new way of teaching and learning. Since we are beginning our year online, our lessons and announcements will mainly be in Google Classroom. About me
I consider it an honor to work with you and your child this year. This is my sixteenth year of teaching 5th grade, and my twenty-first year at Roundstone. I have a Bachelors of Science Degree in Elementary Education, and a Masters of Arts Degree in Education with an emphasis in Reading/Writing. I completed both of these degrees at Eastern Kentucky University. I am also a National Board Certified Teacher 2017 and serve on the district leadership team. My hobbies include playing instruments, gardening, and sewing.
