Our Summer Camps are OPEN! We have altered our lesson plans and layout of the facility to accommodate adhering to the CDC Guidelines, State of California and San Mateo County Health Orders. We also are running Rec Sailing on the weekends to allow more on-the-water time for our sailors. We hope that you and your sailor stay safe and healthy this summer. About Us
Peninsula Youth Sailing Foundation (PYSF) provides instruction, coaching, practice, and racing opportunities for youth in the San Francisco Bay Area. Some have become top sailors in the US.
Year-round sailing programs provide opportunities for kids to learn to sail and develop sailing skills using Optimists, Flying Juniors and 420s. Sailors are trained to compete in local regattas in preparation for events along the West Coast. Clinics are offered for experienced members and summer camps are a fun way for young beginners to learn to sail, and race, in small boats.
Our Mission
To provide a comprehensive sailing program for all youth in the Bay Area. From learn-to-sail to travel teams, our classes stress safety and cultivate the values of character, community and competitiveness. Our program instills lifelong enjoyment and stewardship of our waterways, oceans and world environment.
