About Me:
My name is Jessica Parent; I have been teaching, learning, and growing with my students since 2006. My inspiration to become a teacher came at the early age of 6 due to my influential first grade teacher and my passion continued to be fueled by all of the wonderful PSUSD teachers I had after that. I started my teaching career at Cathedral City High School where I taught 11th grade English, 10th grade English Honors and College Prep, as well as dance. I also have experience in working with career academies, career technical student organizations, and AVID. I have two happy kids: Lucas 9, Victoria 6, and a wonderful husband, John. I am thrilled to be a part of the Cielo Vista Charter family and making it one of the best middle school programs.
