Coach Calhoun

Apart from teaching math at RHS I coach the boys basketball team and RMS Cross Country Team.

My wife, Rachel, and I moved here to Rockmart in 2018. We love the community and the school system! I am proud to live in a community with people that support the school system and its amazing students. Outside of school hours and basketball season you'll likely find me on a stroll with my family on the Silver Comet Trail.

I have been teaching for 11 years. I worked at Villa Rica High School for six years as a teacher and head volleyball coach, assistant basketball coach, and assistant football coach (1 year) before coming to Rockmart.

I graduated from The University of West Georgia in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Physical Education, Nova Southeastern University in 2015 with a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction, and from Augusta University in 2020 with an Educational Specialist in Advanced Educational Studies.
