Congratulations Wind Ensemble! 

We are incredibly proud to share that the Pflugerville Middle School Wind Ensemble has been named a 2026 Commended Winner in the Foundation for Music Education’s Mark of Excellence National Wind Band Honors Project!

The Mark of Excellence is a national competition that recognizes outstanding achievement in concert band performance. Earning the Commended Winner designation places our students among excellent middle school ensembles from across the country and reflects the tremendous amount of preparation, musicianship, teamwork, and dedication they demonstrated throughout the year. The recordings submitted for consideration were from our band’s UIL Concert & Sight-Reading performance.

This is an exciting honor for our students, our program, and the entire Panther Band community. Congratulations to our Wind Ensemble students on this outstanding achievement!
