Book Fair Basics

DATES: Sept. 2-5

PLACE: HME Library

TIMES: 8 AM-3 PM, Tuesday-Friday

**SPECIAL SHOPPING TIME:
Wednesday Evening, Sept. 3, 4-6 PM**

Use the external library entrance, door 15, to shop the Book Fair after-school hours on Sept. 3. A greeter will meet you at the door.

Shop During Grandparents' Week

DATES: Sept. 2-5

PLACE: HME Library

Grandparents are welcome to eat lunch with their students and then shop at the Book Fair during recess time.

**Please note that students may not be pulled out of class to shop.**

How Do We Purchase Books?

**WE HAVE TO COLLECT TAX AT THE RATE OF 8.25% ON ALL PURCHASES**

1. We accept cash, credit cards, checks (made out to Melissa ISD) or Literati gift cards.

2. Don't want to send money with your student? You can purchase an online gift card for them to use at the fair. It's simple and secure:

**If your student has a bag of coins, please count them out and indicate how much is in the bag. We will not have time to count bags of coins at the fair.**

Would You Rather Shop Online?

All online purchases still support the HME library. The online store is open through Sept. 5!

Volunteers Needed!

Please visit our Volunteer Sign Up Sheet to see how you can help make our book fair a success. Even a small amount of your time makes a big difference!

Volunteers assist students with shopping, help keep the book fair organized, run the registers, and help set up/take down the fair.

Please note that all volunteers must have a Melissa ISD Background Check on file.
