Our Mission
The Flaherty Elementary Library Media Center’s mission is to promote digital literacy and a love of reading to all students, staff, and the Flaherty community. The library strives to provide the opportunity for patrons to not only be users of information, but also creators of information.
Our Vision
The Flaherty Elementary Library Media Center’s vision is to be the center of learning for the school community and to provide support to teachers and parents in order to best prepare students to become productive citizens and lifelong learners.
About Mrs. Barnett
Hi! I am Mrs. Joy Barnett, the Library Media Specialist at Flaherty Elementary. I have been a teacher or librarian for the last 12 years. Over that period of time, I have worked with 4th grade through 12th grade. I love my job, and I love sharing my love of reading with others.
