It is with great pleasure that I introduce myself as the RISE Teacher at MaST Community Charter School!

I grew up in NE Philadelphia where I graduated from Northeast High School. From 1998-2003, I attended Kutztown University, earning a Bachelors Degree in Elementary and Special Education. Upon graduating, I returned back to Philadelphia and began teaching at the beginning of the 2003-2004 school year. In 2004, I enrolled in grad school at Holy Family University and graduated in 2006 with a Masters Degree in Education. In October 2006 I was hired by MaST as a long-term substitute in the Special Education Department. I was given the opportunity to come back to MaST as a full-time teacher to begin the 2007-2008 school year and have been at MaST ever since!

Helping adolescents and young adults achieve success is one of my favorite things to do! My passion in life is to help people recognize all that they are capable of learning and doing. I understand that no two people are the same and strive to meet the individual learning needs of each of my students. My students are a huge part of my life and I would not be who I am today without having learned something special from each and every one them!
