Mrs. Julie Turner, Family & Consumer Science
Mrs. Turner holds a bachelors degree in Communications and received her teaching license from Shenandoah University. She is thrilled to begin her eighth year at Harmony Middle School! She has over 25 years of experience in a variety of fields, including managing a child care educational program, owning her own business, and time spent in the mortgage industry. She is a career switcher who chose to return to her passion of working with children, especially middle school students! She is passionate about teaching Family & Consumer Science and looks forward to introducing her students to life skills that are valuable as they grow into adulthood. Her goal is to make 7th grade FACS a fun and enriching course for everyone.

I post my assignments and class announcements through my Schoology classes. Please check there frequently for assignments, announcements, and other important information. Students can access their courses through the Schoology app in LCPSGo.
Parents are able to see each of their child's classes, including assignments, calendars, and notices. There is a link to Schoology in Phoenix.
