Post Secondary Visits
Important Information:
Students are allowed ONE verified absence for a college visit their junior year.
Students are allowed TWO verified absences for college visits their senior year.
Students may take more college visits than allotted; however, subsequent visits will not be “verified” in attendance (this should be a consideration for students enrolled in A+).
To qualify for Senior Study Hall, students must have completed TWO college visits second semester of their junior year. It is encouraged that students meet this requirement by attending college visits provided for students at KHS during Bulldog Time. Students must complete an additional two visits during the first semester of their senior year to maintain senior study hall status for second semester.
Bulldog Time College/Technical School Visits:
If you would like to attend a visit during Bulldog Time, please make sure to check your email for the room locations and check out with your Bulldog Time Instructor. Stay informed by checking our calendar located on the counseling website for upcoming visits and locations.
Off Campus Visits:
Once you receive confirmation of your scheduled visit from the college, please forward that information to Mrs. Carpenter or Mrs. Rose for attendance purposes.
AND/OR
You can also have a parent excuse you for that day and bring back confirmation of the visit from the college and turn it in to Mrs. Carpenter or Mrs. Rose for attendance purposes.
