JWP Athletic Hall of Fame
The Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton Athletic Hall of Fame was created to recognize the outstanding athletes, coaches, and contributors to athletics over the years. Inductees were selected by the Hall of Fame Committee using the criteria listed below.
Nomination Forms
We are now accepting online and paper nomination forms. Nominations for the 2018 Hall of Fame are due April 1st, 2019. Below each link is a description of the criteria to be nominated in each category. All nominees must represent good moral character in society. Be sure to include all pertinent information. This will aid in the selection committee to insure more accuracy.
Must have been out of high school at least nine years or college competition for at least five years. Must have graduated from Janesville, Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton, Pemberton, Waldorf-Pemberton or Waldorf High School.
Must have at least 15 years as a coach in the district. Assistant coach will count towards the 15 years.
Must have at least 15 years in the district. Could be a combination of assistant coach, youth coaching, booster club, media, support staff, volunteer work and individual merit.
Selection: A selection committee will select the inductees from the candidates submitted by the deadline for each year. All applications will be considered by the deadline for each year. All applications will be considered for five years. If after five years the candidate has not been selected, the application will no longer be considered. A new application will be need to be presented to re-activate the candidate.
