On Tuesday’s home conference game the Junior Varsity and Varsity Lady Bucks defeated Purnell Swett. The final score for Junior Varsity was 2-1 and it was by far the best game they played this season. The Varsity Lady Bucks defeated Purnell Swett in three straight sets: 25-17, 25-18, and 26-24. The leading offensive players for the Lady Bucks were Kaliyah Moore and Kimora Blue with 3 aces each. In addition, Diamond Holmes scored an impressive 14 kills, followed by Veronique Woodson with 5 kills, and Jaliyah Daniels with 3 kills. The notable defensive players for the Lady Bucks were Natalie Hollingsworth with 6 digs and Alexis Blackwell with 4 digs. Lady Bucks vs Lady Colts

On Wednesday’s away non-conference match the Lady Bucks varsity volleyball team defeated the Cape Fear Colts by a score of 3-1. The set score was: 25-23, 15-25, 25-22, and 25-22. The Lady Bucks had outstanding communication and hustle throughout the game both for defense and offense. The top defensive players of the game were Kimora Blue with 21 digs and Alexis Blackwell with 15 digs. The strong defense of the Lady Bucks allowed them to set up some powerful attacks against the Cape Fear Colts. The leading offensive players from the Lady Bucks were Diamond Holmes with 15 stunning kills and Kaliyah Moore with 2 powerful aces. Lady Bucks Fall Short to the Lady Scots

On Thursday’s away conference match the Lady Bucks varsity volleyball team lost to the Fighting Scots by a score of 3-0. The set score was: 15-25, 24-26, and 17-25. However, the final score does not represent the amount of teamwork and effort displayed by the Lady Bucks. The leading offensive players from the Lady Bucks were Diamond Holmes with a staggering 12 kills and Veronique Woodson with 8 well placed kills. The top defensive players of the game were Alexis Blackwell and Natalie Hollingsworth with 9 digs each. Lady Bucks Sweep the Lady Falcons

The Lady Bucks swept the lady falcons tonight 3-0. In tonight’s win, the lady bucks soared with scores of 25-10, 25-9 and 25-14 opening conference with a 2-0 record. The lady bucks were led by the vigorous play Diamond Holmes in all facets of the game with 9 service aces, 5 kills, 2 blocks and 8 digs. Other strong performers were Kimora Blue with 4 service aces and 13 assists. Veronique Woodson received 4 kills and Alexis Blackwell picked up 6 digs.
