My name is Mrs. Michelle Hill and I am so excited to be your teacher this year! Thank you for taking the time to visit our site. I have always wanted to be a teacher. I believe that all students can learn with the help and encouragement of their teacher. I am very excited for this upcoming year and working with you and your students. My Background:
I graduated in 2009 from Illinois State University with my Bachelors in Education and a focus on middle level education. In 2014 I completed my masters in curriculum and instruction. Before teaching 7th grade Social Studies, I was lucky enough to teach 5th grade at Elementary South. This will be my eighth year teaching at Hawthorn. I look forward to seeing many of my former students again!
