Physical Education

The Physical Education Program is student centered; designed to allow each student the opportunity to develop the knowledge and the skills necessary to maintain a physically active and healthy lifestyle, and to meet the state standards required for Physical Education I.  During this course students will participate in FitnessGram pre/post testing, individual/team sports and physical conditioning which will involve a cardiovascular program and circuit training.  Students will also have the opportunity to take an online Prescription Drug Abuse Prevention course and will learn Hands Only CPR and AED Awareness through the American Heart Association.  In addition, the district will offer a unit in Sexual Health and Responsibility Education.
