Hello to all. My name is Shawn Shumaker and I have been a teacher here at Bryson Middle for 16 years. I came to the teaching profession after a long stint in manufacturing management with Milliken and Kemet Electronics.

I am originally from Ohio but moved to the Greenville area after graduating from The Citadel and have been here since. I have a wife (Kelly) and two children, Cole and Cassidy. Go Cocks!

We have two dogs (Cash, and Bailey) and one cat (Simon).

In my free time I enjoy hunting, fishing, golfing, and returning to the family farm in Ohio as much as possible.
