The mission of the Woodmont Middle School Chorus program is to provide valuable musical experiences to every student and the community as a whole through performances, to inspire an appreciation of music to every student while cultivating leadership skills, work ethic, creativity, passion, teamwork, confidence, and individuality, and to strive together for excellence in music and character.
I graduated from Bob Jones University in 2016 with my Bachelors of Science in Music Education. I worked at a daycare before getting a job at Woodmont Middle School in the summer of 2017. I live in Piedmont with my husband Joel, our daughter Brielle, our 2 dogs (Ahsoka and Rex), and our cat (Sabine). I have wanted to be a teacher since I was a kid and got to watch my mom teach her K4 class. I count it a privilege to be able to be doing what I love as my job. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy going to see musicals with my friends (usually ones my husband is performing in), at a park with my daughter, or at home reading and watching crime dramas.
