Class overview
In this classroom, students will be nurtured in a safe environment to reach their learning goal. We are a community of learners who will respect each other and help one another to be successful. Important to all of us is not only achieving academic goals but developing our self esteem and ability to work independently as well as cooperatively.

About me
My name is Ruth Freeman.
I am so excited to be joining the Alexander Community.
I moved to Greenville in 2020. Prior to Greenville, I lived in Massachusetts for 21 years.
Since moving to South Carolina, I worked at Legacy Early College Elementary before coming to Alexander.
I have two grown daughters. They have blessed me with 4 grandchildren.
My husband and I will be married for 40 years this coming September. We love spending time with our grandchildren, walking our dog Dolly, and exploring the area we now call home.
As much as I love to teach, I also love to learn. I graduated from Northeastern University and then attended Fitchburg State College to earn my teacher certification. I then went to Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. I earned my Master in Science Education. Finally, I earned my certification in Advanced Pedagogy from Simmons College, Boston.
